The MakerBot Replicator+ is a 3D printer designed to offer professionals and teachers reliable and fast 3D printing. The Replicator+ printer allows you to 3D print high-quality models faster and with greater build volume.
Used in conjunction with MakerBot’s powerful workflow tools, the MakerBot Replicator plus simplifies desktop 3D printing.
For unparalleled performance, the Replicator plus 3D printer is robust and features a 25% larger build volume than its predecessor, improved print grip, and more. The Smart Extruder+ adds functionality inherited from the previous model to the standard equipment. The Replicator+ printer is also compatible with MakerBot’s new “tough” slate grey PLA filament, created for engineers and designers.
Highlights of the MakerBot Replicator+ 3D Printer
1. Printing is 30% faster than the MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D printer (5th generation)
2. Larger build volume of the print chamber allows for 25% larger models to be printed than the previous version
3. In order to ensure consistent performance, the new Replicator Plus Series 3D printers and their parts have been re-engineered and rigorously tested for over 380,000 hours in multiple facilities
4. For greater reliability and precision, the gantry and Z-stage have been made from stiffer materials and more robust construction
5. Improved print adhesion and removal of the printed prototype by using the Flex build plate with “Grip Surface” resulting in reduced warpage and curling. No blue tape is required on the plate.
